Spacebell on tour: 2007!!!

Brum here!!! Sorry, but I was SO tired after the weekend I needed lots of sleep to recover (you people stay up TOO late!!!!!!).

The 5 of of us (Fae, Spacebell, Chunky and myself) were very worried when we got to Raleigh/Durham airport...but we shouldn't have been Carrol was there in his pirate hat waiting to greet us!! (No picture unfortunately).

We did scare him when we asked to call into a craft store for a very odd list of "ingredients", but that wasn't anything compared to the looks on everyones faces when Fae and Jezz started asking Whoosy what types of glue she had and then welding started coming into the conversation.

All the attending pirates were then given a goodie bag with various things (name badges, etc, (anyone get piccies of these??)), but the obvious winner was the skellie fighting-glow when writing- pens!!!!!!

Then was the presentation of Fae's beautifully painted ship (aided by slave labour from the dungeon!), this was based on the crews Lost Lot Grand Frigate and was also complete with tiny versions of the pirates who had managed to attend the meet-up.

We then decided that all good pirates should play poker!!! The game swung between lots of players with Whoosy taking an early lead, but the final battle was between Bobo and Carrol leading to one of the funniest blind all ins to finish the game!!!!!

The following day we started to make a blockade board (though Bob was soon banned from drawing winds!!!!). And I was given one of the new Longboats with Chunky!! And we decided to take on the GF!

That night we went to the ice hockey and I had a great time!!

Though Bobofarc did have to explain the rules to me......

Though at least the result was great for the home team!!!

When we got back BB thought it would be hilarious to play "flick the pirate", then the characters did a conga on the ship!!!!

BB also taught me all about a game called Lacrosse....it was a bit strange, but BB had room for me in her bat!!!!!

Then at the end of the weekend, everyone signed their names to the ship....including me!!!!!!!

So thank you SO much to Whoosy for putting up with the rowdy bunch, and also thank you to everyone who came.

So I guess the final question is......Lost Lot meet-up 2008????!!!!

We can buy a big tent to go in Spacebell's garden!!!!!!!
