Yes, it's just become too much of a hastle lately. Sad but true. I love all of you guys, and you've been great, but it's time for me to move on. I probably won't even be playing YPP again anymore. It's just started taking up so much of my time. The fruit runs, the pilliaging, the furnishing of my house...it's driving me nuts.

I'm going to be greedy though and keep all my stuff. I'm gonna hang on to my poe, my dubs, and all my furniture and ships and stuff. No sense giving all that up. Who knows, maybe I'll be back sometime. Probably not though.

If somebody wants to take over that whole fruit thing, be my guest. I hope it doesn't drain you like it has me. It's a serious hasstle. Good luck figuring it all out and keeping track of everything.

You also might want somebody else to handle that whole flag liason thing too. I started to get involved in that, and it just stacked up ontop of crew stuff and wore me out. No way am I sticking around for more of that.

I'll probably swing by the forums on occasion. You know...check up on things. Maybe I'll start collecting lint or something. There appears to be a nice collection building up behind my monitors, so I guess I'm off to a good start already.

So as a final word, I hope none of you believed anything that I just typed. Look at the date, laugh, and enjoy. This crew rules, YPP rules, CCC rules, and there's no way I'm going anywhere. I'm still running Project: Forage, and I'll still be working on flag communications and such. MUWHAHAHAHA. /me prepares for pokes-a-plenty for the next couple weeks.

when i saw that this thread was made by carrol, i thought - huh? he didn't even say anything last night. he was still laughing and joking around with the crew on vent.
started reading and it did not sound right (i also remembered what day it was and am reading everything with a grain of salt) buy the second paragraph i knew for a fact it was a joke =P

my brothers play a joke on my parents every year for april fools and they fall for it each time. i was just thinking of what joke they might play on mom and dad this year as i came onto the forums - so i was already alert =P

sorry, carrol - couldn't fool the captain today =P

Maybe because I was skimming, but you had me going up to the part about lint, actually.

(Or maybe because I've seen some truly great mates get burnt out over time; Carrol is truly an iron man... er, woman, er.... thing... to be so active for this long now)

Seriously, glad to have ye, but for the rest, I definitely encourage crewmates to help Carrol wherever needed. The longer we can keep... uh... it... around and enjoying the game, the better!
