Here is a modification to the "Hot" image that Horror did for me.
Jezz says it does help her.

It really does make the difference between "hot" (yellow/orange 1st level) and "glowing" (the golden glow for available moves) so much easier to see. Now i have no excuse for being rubbish at the puzzle!!!

try replacing hot.png found in this directory with Space's new pic
C:\Program Files\Three Rings Design\Puzzle Pirates\rsrc\bundles\media\yohoho-puzzle-crafting-iron\media\yohoho\puzzle\crafting\iron |

It'd be wise to make a back-up of the old one by either renaming it "hotx.png" so that it will just sit there or copying the (original) "hot.png" into another folder that you remember. Just in case this new file doesn't work for you for some reason, you can either change the original's name back, or move it back into the folder Elaria suggested, and all should be good again. Also, it's good to keep the back-up just in case you start using this new one and don't like it.

just remember that after some updates the new file will be replaced with the original. MAKE A COPY OF THE NEW IMAGE AND PUT IT IN A SAFE PLACE SO YOU CAN REREPLACE THE IMAGE YOU DON'T LIKE!!!

| Sorry about this, I didn't clarify properly. I was wondering how to get the image. I saw in Pauling's bilge thread that there was a linky that I could click on to download, but I don't see one here. How do I get the replacement .png file? |

Right-click the image in Spacehog's post and select "Save Image As" and name it "hot" (If that is indeed the file name. I haven't double checked myself)

You're absolutely correct Faldrok....the original image is called "hot".
And as he aslo said a right-click and choose save as, and just put the image somewhere you can easily find it.
