Judges/Prizes needed for Ocean-Wide event!

Hey everyone!

So I was going to run this as an independent event or flag event, but I think this would be a great event to bring TLL back on the map.

I am running a Triathlon, with a Swimming event, Bicycle event, and By Foot event. Each event will be run at different times, kind of like our crew Bake-offs. So I am going to run the 1st leg, the Swimming leg, sometime in the next month, likely June 22nd at 3:30pm game. Here are the details:

It's time to go for a little swim. For this leg of the race, each participant must race a sloop back and forth across an event blockade board and complete as many laps as possible before the event blockade ends. You have one round to complete as many laps as possible. The winners will be determined by who has gone the farthest at the end of the 1st round.

I'm gonna need around 5-6 judges. 1 to confirm registration, 2-3 to be on the board to watch and make sure everyone on board is registered and to count laps, 1 to record the blockade (might talk to Phil about this), and 1-2 afterwards to confirm the results by watching the video and making sure everything was done properly.

Also, I would really like a cool banner for the event since it will be a big ocean-wide thing once I'm done with it! So anyone who wants to help...just post here!!!

I'll try to whip up a banner but my work deadline is in crunch mode right now, so I'll know more after May 30th. I doubt I can be a judge as I will most likely be on vacation that weekend.

Oh, you may want to ask Tanonev (ok SP may be off- I'll need to check my hearty list) for his handy program he wrote up that kept score of puzzle ability while doing swabbie (if that helps).
